To kick off 2020 the Squadrons cadet NCO team took part in a development course run at the Squadron HQ. The Air Cadets is a military youth organisation based on the Royal Air Force and therefore there are opportunities for promotion. We encourage cadets to take responsibility for others and events through the chain of command. 216 Squadron is no different with an NCO team of 11, from the highest rank of Cadet Warrant Officer, to Cadet Corporal.
Over two days the cadets took part in a number of elements of training, from the principles and standards of leadership, through to practical training in drill instruction. The cadets also completed their presentation skills course and a full NCO meeting with the OC.
