216 (Redditch) Squadron is located in the north east of Redditch, just off the Coventry Highway, with access to and from the M42 in under 5 minutes. We are based on Redditch Army Reserve Centre along with 37 Signals Regiment (V) and 54 QOWWY (Queen’s Own Warwickshire and Worcestershire Yeomanry) Support Squadron, Regimental Headquarters.
Due to our location and training programme, it may not always be suitable for us to allow visitors. Therefore we ask that any potential cadets enrol on one of our open evenings. If you’re thinking of joining as a member of staff, please contact us on the details below.
The Squadron parades on a Monday and Thursday evening, from 1900 until 2145. We may not reply to you immediately, but will do so at our next parade night.
Important note: On arrival you may be subject to security checks as we are based on an Army Reserve Centre. Please ensure you contact us on arrival by phone (as you cannot contact us on the intercom) and wait at the main entry gate (by the Army Reserve sign). If possible, please do not obstruct the entire gate.
The MoD reserves the right to refuse entry to the compound without reason.
