Following the Squadrons outstanding success in winning the Wing Field Day drill competition, the unit was chosen to represent the Wing at the Regional Field day held at the end of September.
Competing against the best units from across Wales and the West Midlands the cadets first had a full uniform inspection by the directing staff before they moved onto the drill competition. Held inside one of the hangers at RAF Cosford the cadets put in a solid routine. The results at the end of the day saw our cadets come second in the region, for the second year running! A fantastic achievement when you note that the region is made up of around 120 Squadrons.
Some of our cadets also took part in the band competitions and leadership, leading the Wing to finish in overall 3rd place.
